005 - Book Reading in 2019

I read 40 books in 2019, or more precisely, I started 40 books and finished 33 books in 2019. Seven died in utero for one reason or another. Of the 40, five were rereads. As I age I tend to revisit old favorites.

This was a big year for reading - I read twice as many books as 2018. Books distracted me from politics, hyperbolic news coverage and social trolling. My goal is to read 52 in 2020.
